Validator Staking Strategy
At JagPool, we are committed to maximizing the impact and performance of your stake. Our delegation strategy is designed to ensure reliability, support for decentralized infrastructure, and long-term growth. Below, we outline the core principles that guide our validator selection process.
Regional Focus: LATAM (Latin America)
Our primary focus is on supporting validators located in the Latin American region (LATAM). By prioritizing LATAM-based validators, we aim to strengthen the regional blockchain ecosystem, enhance decentralization, and support infrastructure growth in underrepresented regions. As our stake pool grows, we plan to expand to other regions worldwide while maintaining our commitment to decentralization and sustainability.
Maximum commission 5%
To ensure fair rewards for our delegators, we only select validators with commissions not higher than 5%. This ensures you get the best possible returns while supporting validators with sustainable fee structures.
Maximum Jito MEV commission 10%
To ensure fair rewards for our delegators, we only select validators running the Jito client with MEV rewards not higher than 10%. This ensures you get the best possible returns while supporting validators with sustainable fee structures.
Top Validators by Performance
We prioritize validator performance by analyzing:
- Credit Score: A measure of the validator's reliability and operational excellence.
- Skip Rate: Low skip rates indicate consistent block production and high uptime.
- Marketable Presence: Validators must have a marketable logo, name, and an associated website that demonstrates their professionalism and commitment to the ecosystem.
- On-Chain Integrity: Validators must not participate in malicious activities such as sandwiching transactions or be affiliated with groups engaged in such behavior.
- Security Standards: Validators must respect industry-standard security practices. We monitor and track malicious behavior using data from validators.app.
Currently, we delegate to the top 10 validators based on these metrics. As our stake pool grows, we will expand this number to include more validators, increasing decentralization and supporting a broader network of high-performing operators.
Version Alignment with Cluster Recommendations
To maintain network compatibility and stability, all validators we delegate to must align their Solana software version with the cluster's recommended version. This ensures optimal performance and supports the smooth operation of the ecosystem.
Future Vision
We aim for a globally distributed delegation strategy that supports emerging markets, continuously adapts to network developments, and collaborates with validators who share our commitment to decentralization and sustainability.
